FX = gambling???

hello

Well i was talking to a friend of mine. and i told her i was trading FX.
well this is what she said.

wah lau you gamble fx?
wake up.. pls be more down to earth
fx can never be FT.
dun buy USD, its too unpredictable
buy a few blue chips sure will grow over few years.
if you really want to trade fx, go study and work in a bank playing with other ppl money.

well thats wat you expect from someone that never think too highly of me anyway.
during the days with her she always look down on me. i was never good in her eyes.
well some things just never change.....

anyway i was really glad she left me, as i was finally open to open my eyes and see the real world and meet ppl who really believe in me and wants me to be successful.

that will be my last conversation with her abt trading.
fx can never be ft??? am i dreaming? i should be more down to earth? i am gambling?
who knows?? i dunno
